In our life we have to write many types of letters and applications. Some time ago any letter was sent in written format on paper. But now the time has changed. Now we can send any letter by electronic mode which is called e-mail. we can send our message quickly by e-mail.

There are two types of writing.

1. Informal writing

2. Formal writing

Informal writing:-

If you are going to write a letter to your relatives or friends. you can use informal writing for these types of letters. You can use informal language in this type of letters.

Formal Writing:-

A letter or application written for any business purpose or to any organisation will be in formal writing. In this format we have to write in formal way and according to the point.

Subject:-Regarding cleaning problems in ABC colony XYZ.

R, Sir/Madam

On the subject citied above that there is cleaning problems in our area. The sweepers are not doing their work properly . There are piles of filth everywhere. So there is a risk of spreading diseases. So look into this problem.
